Lock the Control Panel

The control panel can be turned off for easy cleaning or to avoid unintentional
changes by small children and pets.
NOTE:
The lock feature does not shut off power to the refrigerator or to the ice maker.
It simply deactivates the control buttons and dispenser pad, and turns off the dispenser
light.
To turn off the ice maker, see “Ice Maker and Storage Bin.”
The display screen indicates when the control panel is locked (lock icon)
■ Press and hold ECO ENERGY and RESET
ALARM for 3 seconds to lock the control
panel.
■ Press and hold ICE SELECTION and
RESET ALARM for 3 seconds to lock the
control panel and dispenser.

■ Press and hold ECO ENERGY and RESET
ALARM a second time to unlock the control
panel.
■ Press and hold ICE SELECTION and
RESET ALARM a second time to unlock
the control panel and dispenser.
IMPORTANT: To avoid unintentionally changing other settings, be sure to press both buttons at
exactly the same time.
