Basic Instructions – Removing the Door – SW-3
Remove the base grille – same as before
Water Dispenser Tubing Connection – same as before
STEP 5 - Wiring Connection
• Disconnect the wiring, located behind the base grille on the freezer door side. See
Graphic 3. Remove the wiring clip using a ¼” hex-head socket wrench. Disconnect
the wiring plugs from the housing.
STEP 6 – Close both doors…
STEP 7 – Remove top hinge….
STEP 8 – Remove the freezer door by removing the screws from the bottom
hinge. Using either a T30 Torx bit or a 3/8” hex drive, remove the bottom
hinge screws
− TWO PEOPLE SHOULD BE REQUIRED TO DO THIS – we warn against it, but we
need to reinforce this
− NOTE: The bottom hinge should remain attached to the freezer door after the
door is removed from the product. The tubes and wiring would NOT be
removed from the bottom hinge.
− Note that the leveler bracket fits between the bottom hinge and the cabinet. It
is very important that the customer re-assemble the leveler bracket when the
hinge is assembled.
