TROUBLESHOOTING

The air conditioner
does not start
No electricity Check power source
Batteries in remote control need to be
replaced
Replace batteries
The power cord is not plugged in properly Remove and reconnect power cord
The LCDI on the power cord has tripped Reset the LCDI
Runs for a short time
then stops
The temperature setting is too close to the
room temperature
Lower the temperature setting
The air outlet is blocked Remove the blockage
The exhaust hose has sharp bends or sags Straighten the hose
The air conditioner
starts but doesn’t cool
A door or window is open Close doors and windows
The lters are dirty Clean the lters
The exhaust hose is not connected Attach the exhaust hose
The temperature setting is too high Lower the temperature setting
The air oulet or air intake is blocked Remove blockage
The room exceeds the recommended size Move the unit to a smaller room
Direct sunlight decreasing cooling effect Cover windows with curtains or blinds
The unit will not run
and “ft” appears on the
display
Excess water condensation is inside the
tank.
Drain the tank.
