• If you want to use the TARE function, press the ON/TARE button again to clear the results of

the container/storage item just weighed. The screen will show “Tare” and “0g” or “Tare” and

“0oz”.

• Then, place the food you wish to weigh into the container and just the weight of the food that

was added will be displayed on the screen. Press the tare button again, when the container with

the food is removed from the platform the total weight of food and container will be shown on

the screen.

NOTE: After your last TARE function request and the contents have been removed from the

platform, the unit will shut off automatically after approximately 10 seconds.

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Change battery when ”LO” appears on the LCD which indicates that the battery is running out

of power.

• ”EEE” showing on LCD indicates overload, surpassing the 11 pound weight limit of this product.

• Will occur if more than 4.4 lbs (2kg) of weight is placed on the scale before power has been

turned on. To clear error code, remove items from the scale and wait 3 seconds before

resuming use.
