WARNING • • • If pressurised aerosol containers bear the word ‘flammable’ and/or a small flame symbol, do not store them inside any refrigerator or freezer. If you do so you may cause an explosion. When you dispose of your old refrigerators and freezers, remove any doors. Children can suffocate if they get trapped inside. This appliance contains insulation formed with flammable blowing gases. Avoid safety hazards by carefully disposing of this appliance.
Daily use • Do not store flammable gases or liquids in the appliance, there is a risk of an explosion. • Do not operate any electrical appliances in the appliance (e.g. electric ice cream makers, mixers etc.). • When unplugging always pull the plug from the mains socket, do not pull on the cable. • Do not place hot items near the plastic components of this appliance. • Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall.

Starting up and temperature regulation Mid Less Cold Colder Temperature selector knob that controls the temperature inside the freezer compartment is located on the top of the refrigerator • Position Less Cold. • Position Mid. • Position Colder. Starting up and temperature regulation Insert the plug of the connection lead into the plug socket with protective earth contact. Setting Less Cold means: Highest temperature, warmest setting. Setting Colder means: Lowest temperature, coldest setting.
Helpful hints and tips Electrical connection CAUTION Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified or competent person. WARNING This appliance must be earthed. The manufacture declines any liability should these safety measures not be observe. Daily use Accessories Shelves • The shelves are suitable for storing food. • To remove the shelf, lift up at the front and pull out. • To put the shelf back, simply push in as far as it will go.
Hints for storage of frozen food To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should: • Make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were stored correctly by the retailer. • Be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the food store to the freezer in the shortest possible time. • Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary. • Once defrosted, foods deteriorate rapidly and can not be re-frozen.
Trouble shooting problem Possible cause solution Appliance does not work Appliance is not switched on. Switch on the appliance. Mains plug is not plugged in or is loose. Insert mains plug. Household fuse has blown or is defective. Socket is defective. Check fuse, replace if necessary. Mains malfunctions are to be corrected by an electrician. Turn the temperature regulator to a warmer setting temporarily. Please look in the initial “Start Up” section. Open the door only as long as necessary.
