Basic Configuration
• ServiceAccess: Determines whether this account will be able to access command
mode via Serial Port, Telnet/SSH or Web. For example, if Telnet/SSH Access is
disabled for this account, then this account will not be able to access command
mode via Telnet or SSH. (Default = Serial Port = On, Telnet/SSH = On, Web = On,
Outbound Access = Off.)
Note:TheServiceAccessParameterisonlyusedtoselectpermittedaccess
servicesforanindividualuseraccount.Toseparatelyenable/disableallSSHor
TelnetAccessfortheTSM/RSMunit,pleaserefertoSection5.9.2.
• CallbackPhoneNumber: Assigns a number that will be called when this account
attempts to access command mode via modem, and the Callback Security
Function has been enabled as described in Section 5.3.4. (Default = undefined.)
Notes:
• IftheCallbackPhoneNumberisnotdefined,thenCallbackswillnotbe
performedforthisuser.
• IftheCallbackPhoneNumberisnotdefinedforagivenuser,andthe
CallbackSecurityfeatureisconfiguredtouseeitherofthe"On-Callback"
options,thenthisuserwillbegrantedimmediateaccesstocommandmode
viamodem.
• IftheCallbackPhoneNumberisnotdefinedforagivenuser,andthe
CallbackSecurityfeatureisconfiguredtousethe"On-CallbackONLY"
option,thenthisuserwillnotbeabletoaccesscommandmodeviaModem.
• Whenusingthe"On-Callback(WithPasswordPrompt)"option,itisimportant
torememberthataccountsthatdonotincludeacallbackphonenumberwill
beallowedtoaccesscommandmodewithoutcallbackverification.
Note:Afteryouhavefinishedselectingoreditingaccountparameters,make
certaintosavethenewaccountinformationbeforeproceeding.IntheWeb
BrowserInterface,clickonthe"AddUser"buttontosaveparameters;inthe
TextInterface,pressthe[Esc]keyseveraltimesuntiltheTSM/RSMdisplaysthe
"SavingConfiguration"messageandthecursorreturnstothecommandprompt.
