an
alphanumeric
number
that
can
assist
in
determining
the
date of
manufacture of
your
WESTERBEKE engine/generator.
The
first
character indicates the decade (A=1960s, B=1970s,
C=1980s,
D=1990s E=2000s), the
first
number represents
the
year
in
the
decade,
and
the
second
and
third
numbers
represent
the
month of manufacture.
