Remote Operation 
For starting  and  stopping  the  generator  at a remote  location, the  same three switches are  used. 
The 
PREHEAT and START switches are connected  in parallel with the local panel's switches and serve the 
same functions as in the local panel. 
The 
STOP switch is connected in series with 
the 
local panel's STOP 
switch and serves the same function  as in the  local panel.  The generator may be stopped from  local 
or 
remote positions.
