EMISSIONS
This genset meets the requirements
of
California's Exhaust
Emissions Standards as stated on the nameplate.
You
should carefully review operator (Owner) Installation
and other manuals and information you receive with your
genset.
If
you are unsure that the installation, use,
maintenance or service
of
your genset
is
authorized, you
should seek assistance from an approved WESTERBEKE
dealer.
California users
of
this genset should be aware that
unauthorized modifications or replacement
of
fuel, exhaust,
air
'intake, or speed control system components that affect
engine emissions are prohibited. Unauthorized modification,
removal or replacement
of
the engine label is prohibited.
California genset users may use the table below as
an
aid
in
locating information related to the California Air Resources
Board requirements for emissions control.
Federal Emissions
Compliance Period: The Federal
Emissions Compliance
Period referred to on the nameplate
indicates the number
of
operating hours for which the engine
has been shown to meet Federal Emissions requirements.
