Cut Deck to Required Size:

Required Tools: Electric Drill with 1/4” bit, 7/16” and 9/16” socket with extension,

two 9/16” wrenches, 7/16” wrench.

Cut two pieces of decking material to a length of 60” (10 ft ramp) or 72” (12 ft ramp). The width of the

deck may be any dimension up to 48”. We recommend using 3/4” plywood as your decking material.

Thin, or poor quality decking will reduce capacity.

Assembly And Use Instructions

10 and 12 ft.

Use 3/8” bolts to assemble 4 main beams as shown below. Use washers on both sides. DO NOT

TIGHTEN ANY BOLTS AT THIS TIME. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.

One RHS and one LHS joint plate for

each beam end.

Step 4 Attach Main Beams: Attach main beams to the long edge of the decking material with the 1/4” bolts as shown. For each edge, drill and bolt the middle hole, then continue with the rest of the holes along the edge. Make sure that the joint plates are on the same end of the deck so that the two ramp sections can be connected (see step 5). Use the supplied washers on this side. Rember to attach the red support fingers to the end of the ramp with the matching holes. Use the 4 supplied carriage bolts.

Western Steel & Tube Warning: Failing to follow ALL of these instructions could result in personal injury. 1. Never overload ramps. Maximum capacity for your ramp when using 3/4” plywood is 600 lbs (evenly distributed). Thin or poor quality decking material will reduce capacity. 2. Always make sure that the ramp support fingers completely overlap the lifting surface. The top of the ramp must be secured to the lifting surface to prevent it from slipping and/or falling. 3.
