I-5.2 Retro-fitting and modific. of I/O-ext. (*watch connecting diagram)
Only for instruments with modular option C!
l
The instrument contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Original packing protects against elec
-
trostatic discharge (ESD), transport only in original
packing.
When mounting, rules for ESD protection must be
taken into account.
Connection:
KS 98-1 engineering must be taken into account, be-
cause it determines pin allocation and signification of
connections.
Moreover, the rules for the performance limits must
be followed (see manual r 9499-040-82711).
Mounting
After releasing the locking screw, withdraw the KS
98-1 module from the housing.
a
Insert the module into the required socket with the
printed label pointing down-wards into the green
connector and click it in position in the small, white
contact b
at the top.
I-5.3 I/O extension with CANopen
The unit offers a CANopen-compliant interface port for connection of the RM 200 system, KS 800 or additional KS 98-1
