APPENDIX A: EMC & ESD DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
The Program Menu and Monitor Menu are presented here. For Faults, see
the Troubleshooting Chart in Section 6. The other programmer menus are
self-explanatory.
Program Menu
(not all items available on all controllers)
The 1268’s programmable parameters are listed here in the order in which they
are displayed by the programming device.
M1 MAIN C/L Drive current limit in Mode 1.
M2 MAIN C/L Drive current limit in Mode 2.
REGEN C/L Current limit during regen braking.
PLUG C/L Current limit during plug braking.
AUX DRVR MODE 0=none, 1=WalkAway, 2=EM brake.
AUX PULL IN Voltage at aux driver (pin 23) during first 0.1 second.
AUX HOLDING Voltage at aux driver (pin 23) after first 0.1 second.
EMB DELAY Delay before EM brake is applied.
FLD BRAKE Enable field braking, to slow vehicle near zero speed.
FLD BRAKE SPD Speed threshold below which field braking occurs.
FLD BRAKE MAX Max field current allowed during field braking.
FLD BRAKE RATE Sets how quickly field current rises during field braking.
EMB SPD CHECK Enable controller to attempt to stop vehicle before
locking EMB after main contactor fault.
EMB SPD VALUE Threshold speed at which EMB is allowed to lock
during a main contactor fault.
RPM TO SPEED Conversion factor for motor to vehicle speed.
TACHO POLES Number of poles in speed sensor magnet.
MODE AFTER KEY Mode change allowed after KSI activated (yes/no).
WARNING OPTION Sets conditions for warning signals.
M1 FWD SPEED Maximum forward speed in Mode 1.
M1 ACCEL Forward acceleration rate in Mode 1.
M1 DECEL Forward deceleration rate in Mode 1.
M1 BRAKE MIN % of Main C/L at start of brake map, Mode 1.
M1 BRAKE MAX % of Main C/L at end of brake map, Mode 1.
M1 BRAKE MAP % of Main C/L at midpoint of brake map, Mode 1.
M1 BRAKE START Vehicle speed at start of brake map, Mode 1.
M1 BRAKE END Vehicle speed at end of brake map, Mode 1.
REV SPEED Maximum reverse speed.
REV ACCEL Reverse acceleration rate.
REV DECEL Reverse deceleration rate.
REV BRAKE MIN % of Main C/L at start of reverse brake map.
REV BRAKE MAX % of Main C/L at end of reverse brake map.
