DUST PORTS
For optimal dust removal and minimal clean-up, this sander is
equipped with two dust ports: one for the belt and one for the disc.
The sanding belt dust port with the side guard is mounted to the
machine using a lock knob (Fig. B - 5) and three screws/washers (Fig.
B - 4).
The sanding disc dust port attaches to the back of the dust port (Fig.
G - 2) using three screws and washers (Fig. G - 1).
SANDING DISC TABLE
To install the included work table that accompanies the sanding disc,
attach the table (Fig. I- 3) to the sander above the disc dust chute and
secure it using two lock knobs (Fig. G - 4 & Fig. B - 5) from both
sides.

BELT TRACKING
Belt tracking means adjusting the belt to ride in the center of the rollers so that it runs true (does not wander left
or right during operation). The sander is equipped with a belt tracking adjustment knob (Fig. G - 5). To adjust the
belt tracking:
1. Remove the upper guard lock knob (Fig. B - 3) and the screws (Fig. B - 4) holding the side cover (belt dust port)
in place. Remove the side cover and set it to the side.
2. Rotate the sanding disc with your hand. This causes the belt to slowly rotate. Watch to see if it starts to move left
or right (toward or away from the body of the sander). If the belt wanders from the belt rollers, use the belt tracking
adjustment knob (Fig. G - 5) to adjust the angle of the rollers. Keep rotating the disk with one hand while turning the
belt tracking knob until the belt rides in the center of the rollers.
3. Once the belt is in the center of the rollers, stop turning the adjustment knob and the disc. Re-install the side
cover and connect the cord to the power source. Turn the sander ON and then quickly OFF to verify that the belt
is riding true in the center of the rollers.
UPPER GUARD
Install the upper guard (Fig. B - 6) onto the belt sanding arm using the lock knob (Fig. B - 3) to secure it in place.
