A Wells Guide to Care and Cleaning of Vitreous China Bathroom Sinks
Wells vitreous china sinks are made by heating the clay and glazing materials in a
kiln to a temperature up to 2600°F. The vitrified surface yielded thereby is hard,
smooth and non-porous, and it needs very little maintenance.
After each use simply rinse the sink and use a soft cloth to wipe it dry. For a more
thorough cleaning, use some hand soap on the surface, and rinse and wipe dry.
For under-mount sinks, soil and mildew may accumulate over time; it is
recommended to clean around the connection between the sink and the
countertop from time to time.
For more stubborn stains, soft abrasive cleaners may be used but strong abrasive
cleaner, heavy duty scouring pad, and steel wools, etc. should be avoided
because they’ll scratch and dull the sink surface.
Follow the simple guide, you’ll certainly enjoy a great many years’ use of Wells
vitreous china sinks.
