Lower the ELEMENT HEAD into the frypot by pushing back on the BASKET SUPPORT ROD, raising the ELEMENT HEAD SUPPORT ROD, then carefully lowering the elements. Exposed surfaces can be hot to the touch and may cause burns. 2.

Always wear protective clothing and heat resistant gloves when performing this test. 1. Fill the frypot to the MIN OIL line. Fresh oil is recommended to minimize smoking. 2. Clip the TEST THERMOMETER to a FRYER BASKET. Lower the fryer basket into the oil. Be sure the dial of the test thermometer can be clearly viewed.
