DO NOT use the hotplate surface as a cutting board. 
DO NOT cook directly on the glass-ceramic surface. 
Check glass and ceramic cookware to verify suitability for use on hot-
plates. 
DO NOT drop cookware onto glass-ceramic cook surface. 
Carefully place heavy pots and skillets on glass-ceramic cook surface 
to avoid damage. 
Avoid sliding cookware across hotplate surface. 
Remove stains and metal marks from the glass-ceramic cook surface 
after use by cleaning with cleaning creme. Allow 
hotplate surface to cool completely before cleaning 
DO NOT leave empty cookware on a hot cooking surface. 
Avoid contacting the hot glass-ceramic surface with plastic or aluminum 
foil, which may melt.
