The WD 1M and WD 2M control units
automatically recognise the type of sol-
dering tool connected and assigns the
appropriate control parameter for that
tool. This normally removes the need for
recalibration.
Automatic tool recognition
2 Weller soldering tools (up to 80 Watts
each) can be operated simultaneously
with the WD 2M. When using a 150 Watt
soldering tool, the second channel will
automatically be switched OFF.
