Heavy Duty High Pressure Regulators
820 Series high pressure regulator series for use on cylinders with a wide
variety of non-corrosive inert gases. Piston sensor design gives structural
reliability in high pressure use. Low torque control adjusting screw permits
easy adjustment of pressures in closed or dead end systems.

This special purpose regulator is designed to supply constant pressure nitrogen to oil filled sub-
station power transformers. This regulator will maintain oil-filled transformer atmospheres at
approximately .5 PSIG. This design is constructed with a two stage preset regulator
connected to a highly sensitive single stage regulator that maintains a .5 PSIG outlet
pressure. A built in self relieving valve set at 8 PSIG protects the system from over-
pressurization due to temperature variations. This unit is also designed with a purge valve
that has a preset pressure of 8 PSIG which is connected to the second stage allowing quick
gas filling of transformers. This highly reliable design provides constant outlet pressure and
flow. Adjusting screws are concealed to prevent tampering.
