6 Feature Enable
These settings specify whether or not certain features are available to the clinician.
If you enable a feature in the configuration, then it is available to the clinician. If you
disable a feature in the configuration, then it is not available to the clinician.
For each parameter, the factory value is shown in bold. Factory values are used until
other values are uploaded to the monitor.
6.1 Enable Wireless Communications (with Acuity)
For wireless monitors that must communicate with Acuity, this must be set to
(Yes). If this is set to (No), the monitor cannot communicate with Acuity.
For standalone monitors
that do not communicate with Acuity, always set this
to (No). If this is set to (Yes), the configuration file is not valid and cannot be
uploaded to the monitor.

If (Yes) is selected, NIBP Units Default (see “NIBP Units Default” on
page 153) must be set to mmHg.
