Configuring the Software
After you have installed the PCI CPCOM card you need to configure the Workstation software
in order to allow communication between the program and the PCI-CPCOM card.
To configure Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation:
1. Start Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation and log in as Administrator
2. In the File menu, click Settings, click Exercise ECG and click on the Recorder tab.
3. Set the Port setting to CPCOM-PCI.
4. Click OK to save your settings.
11.5 Install the PCMCIA CPCOM Card (MD recorder only)
The use of a PCMCIA CPCOM card requires a free type II PCMCIA slot and is not supported
on Windows NT 4.
The installation of the PCI CPCOM card is relatively easy and can be done by following the
instructions below:
1. Insert the Card into the PC.
2. The operating system will ask you for a driver upon insertion of the card into one of
the PCMCIA slots.
For
Windows:
Select the driver file that is located on the Welch Allyn
CardioPerfect Workstation CD, in the directory:
2000 / XP
R:\Drivers\ CPCOM-PCMCIA\Win2000\\
For "R" substitute the drive letter of your CD_ROM drive.
Configuring the Software
After installing the card you need to configure the Workstation software in order to allow
communication between the program and the card.
To configure Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation:
1. Start Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation and log in as Administrator
2. In the File menu, click Settings, click Exercise ECG and click on the Recorder tab.
3. Set the Port setting to CPCOM-PCMCIA.
4. Click on OK to save your settings.
