2. Click Yes. The measurements are assigned to the patient that is mentioned in the
message. The New ambulatory blood pressure test dialog box is displayed, so that
you can continue with recording a test for the current patient.
Note: if you click No, the measurements are deleted from the ABP recorder without
being saved.
To assign the measurements to a new patient:
1. If you want to record a test for the current patient, but the ABP recorder still contains
measurements of an unknown patient, the following message is displayed:
2. Click Yes. A new patient card is created. This card only contains a patient number. The
New ambulatory blood pressure test dialog box is displayed, so that you can
continue with recording a test for the current patient.
Note: if you click No, the measurements are deleted from the ABP recorder without
being saved.
2.3 Read back measurements
When the patient has returned, you need to read back the measurements and transfer them
to the computer. Once you have transferred the measurements to the computer, you can
view them in the ABP module.
To read back the measurements and save them on your computer:
1. Connect the ABP recorder to your computer. The In progress dialog is displayed.
2. Press the Read measurements button. The Ambulatory Blood Pressure
Measurements read back dialog box is displayed.
