Note When the device is in the Continuous Monitoring profile, and
episodic or continuous trend data has been stored on the
device, the profile control is disabled.
Note You cannot change profiles while acquiring patient
measurements or while unsaved patient measurements are
on the device.
2. To change from the Continuous Monitoring profile to any other profile, complete the
following steps:
a. Touch End monitoring.
An "End monitoring" dialog appears with the following options:
• New patient – Clears patient and location context and review data after you
remove patient sensors
• Power down – Clears patient and location context and review data, and
powers down the device
• Cancel – Retains patient data and returns to Home tab
Note Ending monitoring removes unsaved patient
measurement data from the device.
b. Select the desired option and touch OK.
The Profile tab appears to confirm your profile selection.
c. Touch Home to return to the Home tab.
3. To change from any profile to the Continuous Monitoring profile, complete the
following steps:
a. Select the desired option.
A confirmation dialog appears.
Note Changing profiles removes unsaved patient
measurement data from the device.
b. Touch Yes to continue or No to stop the process and return to the Profile
vertical tab.
If you select Yes, a "Confirm patient and location" dialog appears with the
following options:
• New patient – Clears patient and location context and review data after you
remove patient sensors
• Power down – Clears patient and location context and review data, and
powers down the device
• Cancel – Retains patient data and returns to Home tab
c. Select the desired option and touch OK.
The Home tab appears.
