The Welch Allyn LumiView Portable Binocular Microscope is a
breakthrough product with its unique converging stereoscopic viewing
system. Specially configured optics literally converge the user’s binocular
vision, providing a magnified, three-dimensional view that can be
focused into narrow cavities. At the same time, a powerful halogen
lamp shines cool light directly on the subject, resulting in a bright, 3D
image. What’s more, Welch Allyn LumiView can go everywhere you do.
Its clip-on battery pack provides more than enough power for a long
day’s worth of examinations.

needed most. In addition, its relatively large depth of focus provides for a comfortable working distance
between you and your patient.
Regular loupes or magnifiers merely enlarge what you see with binocular vision, and cannot be
used effectively to look into small cavities. The Welch Allyn LumiView converges the visual path,
giving you a magnified, stereoscopic view into the ear, nose, throat or other small cavities.
Whatever your specialty, the Welch Allyn LumiView will make a valuable
addition to your practice. Its 1.5x (2 diopter) magnification is sufficient for
most procedures, while the insufflation system provides additional magni-
