3c Venting - Direct exhaust - components
Obtain vent system components
1. The following special gas ve nt s ystems comply with UL -1 738
and ULC-S636 standards and are certi fi ed by CSA as the only
syste ms suit ab le for us e with CGi boilers (a ll 3" diameter):

I. INSTALLATION OF CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS. At

equipment, the installing plumber or gas fitter shall observe that a
hard wirtd carbon monox ick dct«tor with an alarm and battery
back -u p is installed on the floor levd where the gas equipment is
to be installed. In addition. the installing plumber or gas fitter shall

ING SYSTEM NOT PROVIDED. When the manufactu«"r of a Product
