Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Product changes serve the continuous product improvement. The articles listed below are supplied in a modified
version. Please pass this product information on to your employees and, if necessary, to your customers. All
changes are made for product improvement reasons.

Currently the ZPE 4 products are manufactured in the established clamp carrier design. In addition, the
clamping carriers are currently still moulded in green colour and then printed with yellow colour.
In future, the products concerned will be manufactured with a new clamping carrier, which includes new
marking channels with side flaps. This prevents the markings from slipping out in the future and
enables the use of strip markers. In addition, the terminal foot of the ZPE version has been redesigned,
which is now similar to that of the A series.
Since the changes make the wings on the busbars of the 2AN and 3AN variants superfluous, these
wings are removed and the busbar thickness is reduced to 0.8 mm. In the 4AN variant, the wings are
shortened but the busbar thickness is not reduced and remains 1 mm.
Finally, the ZPE terminal carriers are now manufactured in a marbled colour.
All certifications and approvals of the products affected will be updated in this process.
Due to this product change there are changes in the rated data. The clampable solid conductor in CSA
applications is reduced from 10 AWG to 12 AWG.
