Getting to know and setting up the program
5.3 Conguring the network settings
You can assign a xed IP address and a xed DNS server
address to the program.
Only your network administrator may change the
network settings.
Prerequisite: You have connected the WPC to your com-
pany network via a network cable.
► Tap System information.
► Tap Network.
► Tap Use the following IP address.
► Enter an IP address.
► Enter a subnet mask.
► Enter a default gateway.
► Tap Use the following DNS server addresses.
► Enter an alternative DNS server address.
► Tap Apply.

The octets of the IP address must always be
entered with three digits. If you have assigned a
xed IP address to the WPC in the planning soft-
ware, you also assign the same IP address in the
WPC-Server.
5.4 Obtaining network settings automati-
cally
► Tap System information.
► Tap Network.
► Tap Get IP address automatically.
► Tap Get DNS server address automatically.
► Tap Apply.
5.5 Setting the port
► Tap Port.
► Enter the port number.
► Tap Apply.
If you have changed the port number in the WPC,
assign the same port number to the WPC in the
planning software.
5.6 Changing the language
The program starts in the language that was last set.

► Tap System information.
► Tap the desired language.
► Tap Apply.
A dialogue box is opened.
► Tap Yes.
► Restart the program.
The new language is not set until the program
has been restarted.
If the language is changed, the program shuts
down and restarts.

► Tap System information.
► Tap Settings.
