You can prepare projects in the planning software as fol-
lows:
Enter processing orders manually
Create project data in EPLAN and import into the plan-
ning software
Create project data in a .csv le and import into the plan-
ning software
7.1 Creating processing orders manually
You can create processing orders manually. If you have im-
ported project data from EPLAN or a .csv le, you can add
information to processing orders.
You can save multiple processing orders as a project and
export this project to a WPC.
Click the add icon.
A list box is opened.
Click Project name.
Enter a project name.
Enter all of the project data for your processing order.
Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory
elds that must be lled in. It will not be possible
to export the project to a WPC if these mandatory
elds are not all lled in.
Click OK.
7.2 ImportingprojectdatafromEPLAN
Prerequisite: You have created a project in EPLAN and
exported via the WPC plug-in (see section 3.3).
Click Project.
Click EPLAN.
The project will be displayed in the project view.
7.3 ImportingprojectdatafromaCSVle
Prerequisite: You have created a project via the .csv tem-
plate.
Click Project.
Click CSV.
A list box is opened.
Navigate to the project you want to import.
Select the project.
Click OK.
7.4 Saving a project
Prerequisites: You have created or imported a project.
You have entered a project name.
Click Save.
A list box is opened.
Navigate to the location where you want to save the pro-
ject.
If you want to export the project to a WPC via
USB stick, save the project to the root directory.
Projects saved in sub-folders will not be automati-
cally recognised by the WPC.
Click Save.
7.5 Openingaprojectfromthelesystem
Prerequisite: You have created and saved a project.
Click Project.
A list box is opened.
Click Open.
Navigate to the location where you have saved the pro-
ject.
Select the project you want to open.
Click Open.
The project will be displayed in the project view.
7.6 Editing project data
You can edit project data, e. g., if you want to change the
number of conductors to be processed.
Click the processing order you want to change.
Click Edit.
A list box is opened.
Click the eld you want to change.
If you have made all the changes, click OK.
7.7 Deleting processing orders
Once deleted, processing orders cannot be re-
stored.
You can delete processing orders from your project.
Click the processing order you want to delete.
Click the waste bin icon.
7.8 Deleting a project
Once deleted, projects cannot be restored.
If you want to delete your project, click New.
A dialogue box is opened.
Click OK.
