Multiple WPCs can be centrally managed using the plan-
ning software.
The WPC settings can be found in the device list:

6.1 AddingaWPC
► Click System.
► Click Device list.
► Click the add icon.
A text eld is opened.
► Enter the system designation of the WPC.
► Enter the IP address of the WPC.
The octets of the IP address must always be en-
tered in three-digit format. If you have assigned
a xed IP address to the WPC in the planning
software, you will need to assign the same IP ad-
dress in WPC-Server.
► Enter the port of the WPC.
► If you want to test the network connection, click Testing
connection.
► Click OK.
6.2 AddingaWPCviaUSB
Prerequisite: You have connected a WPC via a USB ca-
ble. Plug the USB stick into the USB interface before start-
ing up the planning software.
► Click System.
► Click Device list.
► Click the USB icon.
A dialogue box is opened.
► Click Yes.
The planning software will search for the WPC on the USB
stick.
► Click OK.
If there are problems establishing the connection,
check the connection in the WPC and change the
USB interface in the WPC.
6.3 DeletingaWPC
► Click System.
► Click Device list.
► Select the WPC you want to delete.
► Click Delete WPC.
6.4 SettingaWPCasadefault
You can set a WPC as a default system. When you export
processing lists, e. g., the processing lists will be exported
to the default WPC if you do not select a dierent WPC.
► Click System.
► Click Device list.
► Select the WPC you want to set as the default WPC.
► Click Set as default.
The selected WPC will be moved to the rst item in the list.
The default WPC is always the rst item in the
list. If you create multiple WPCs, the WPC you
create rst will be the default WPC until you set a
dierent WPC as the default.
6.5 ChangingtheWPCsettings
You can change the following settings in the Edit WPC
menu:
– System designation
– IP address
– Port
► Click System.
► Click Device list.
► Select the WPC for which you want to change the set-
tings.
