Sicherheitshinweise Das Gerät darf nur von einer Elektrofachkraft verwendet werden, die mit den nationalen und internationalen Gesetzen, Vorschriften und Standards vertraut ist. GEFAHR • Bei Beschädigung darf das Prüfgerät nicht in Betrieb genommen werden. • Das Prüfgerät darf nur wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben eingesetzt werden. • Das Prüfgerät erzeugt Spannungen von bis zu 1.000 V bei einem Strom von 1 mA.
Akkus Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme ist der Akkusatz des Prüfgerätes mindestens 4 h aufzuladen. Das Laden der Akkus hat bei einer Raumtemperatur von 20 °C…25 °C zu erfolgen. Eine Schutzschaltung verhindert die Überladung des Akkus. Der Akkusatz sollte alle 2 Jahre gewechselt werden. Bitte senden Sie das Prüfgerät zum Wechseln an Weidmüller zurück. Wenn das Gerät über einen längeren Zeitraum nicht genutzt wird, sollten Sie die Akkus regelmäßig alle 3 Monate laden.
Safety instructions The instrument must only be used by qualified electricians who are familiar with national and international laws, provisions and standards. DANGER • In case of damage, the testing instrument must not be operated. • The testing instrument must only be used as described in these operating instructions. • The testing instrument generates voltages up to 1,000 V at a current of 1 mA. WARNING • Only the mains plug adapter supplied may be used for charging and in operation.
Rechargeable batteries Prior to operating for the first time, the battery set of the testing instrument has to be charged for at least 4 hours. The batteries have to be charged at room temperature (20 °C...25 °C). A protective circuit prevents the batteries from being overcharged. The battery set should be replaced every two years. Please return the testing instrument to Weidmüller for replacement.

El sistema cuenta con un circuito protector que evita que las pilas se sobrecarguen. Las pilas se deben sustituir cada dos años. Para realizar la sustitución se deberá enviar el comprobador a Weidmüller.

2 Allgemeine Hinweise 2.1 Hinweise zur CE-Kennzeichnung Das Produkt erfüllt die EU-Richtlinien 2014/35/EU "Niederspannungsrichtlinie" und 2014/30/EU "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit". 2.2 Recycling nach WEEE Entsorgung B2B Sehr geehrter Weidmüller-Kunde, mit dem Erwerb unseres Produktes haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das Gerät nach Ende seines Lebenszyklus an Weidmüller zurückzugeben. Die WEEE (EU-Richtlinie 2012/19/EU) regelt die Rücknahme und das Recycling von Elektroaltgeräten.

Mittels der Pfeiltasten [Hoch] und [Runter] kann zum gewünschten Menüpunkt gewechselt werden. Der Menüpunkt wird mit der [OK]-Taste aktiviert. 3.1.
Zum Starten einer Messung ist im Hauptmenü der Menüpunkt "Messung“ auszuwählen und mit [OK] zu bestätigen. Danach wird der Benutzer aufgefordert die 10-stellige Objektnummer (Bestellnummer) des zu prüfenden Moduls einzugeben. Diese befindet sich stirnseitig auf dem zu prüfenden Modul, siehe Abbildung 3. Durch bestätigen mit [OK] wird die Messung gestartet.
3.1.2 Modulmanagement 3.1.2.1 Modul anlegen Unter diesem Menüpunkt kann der Benutzer neue Produkte speichern bzw. gespeicherte Module löschen. Informationen zu den neuen Modulen sind über die Homepage von Weidmüller (www.weidmueller.com) zu beziehen. Der Menüpunkt "Modul anlegen" ist auszuwählen und mit [OK] zu bestätigen. Im oberen rechten Bereich der Anzeige (siehe "xxx“ in der nebenstehenden Abbildung) wird die Anzahl der vom Benutzer eingetragenen Module angezeigt.
Sobald man diesen Wert mit [OK] bestätigt, werden vier mögliche Kombinationen des Gasableiters abgefragt. Falls weniger als vier Kombinationen benötigt werden, bestätigt man diese mit der [OK]-Taste, ohne eine Eingabe zu tätigen (Kombination 0-0). Desweiteren ist es nicht möglich zwei gleiche Werte bei der jeweiligen Kombination einzugeben.
Eingabe Kombinationen Suppressordiode Neben den oben beschriebenen Standardabfragen wird bei der Suppressordiode zusätzlich die Bauart abgefragt. Hierzu muss der Benutzer eine Auswahl zur Diodenpolarität treffen, die als Information von Weidmüller geliefert wird. Eine "1" steht für eine unipolare Diode und eine "0" für eine bipolare Diode. Die Auswahl ist mit [OK] zu bestätigen Zusammenfassung Abschließend wird eine Zusammenfassung angezeigt, um die eingegebenen Werte noch einmal prüfen zu können.
3.1.2.2 Modul löschen Um ein gespeichertes Modul zu löschen, wählt man im Menü "Modulmanagement“ den Punkt "Modul löschen“. Dem Benutzer werden nun die gespeicherten Module angezeigt. Die fest integrierten Module sind weder in der Liste aufgeführt, noch können sie gelöscht werden. Mit den Pfeiltasten [Hoch] und [Runter] wird das zu löschende Modul ausgewählt und mit der [OK]-Taste gelöscht. HINWEIS Der Benutzer wird nicht erneut gefragt, ob der Datensatz wirklich gelöscht werden soll.
LCD-Beleuchtung Unter dem Menüpunkt "LCD-Beleuchtung" kann der Benutzer die Hintergrundbeleuchtung ein- oder ausschalten. Die Auswahl erfolgt mit Hilfe der Pfeiltasten. Nach Bestätigung mit der [OK]-Taste wird die Einstellung gespeichert. Version Unter dem Menüpunkt "Version" ist der aktuelle Softwarestand ersichtlich. Sie wird mit Betätigung der [OK]-Taste angezeigt. Die Anzeige springt nach eine paar Sekunden automatisch wieder in das Hauptmenü zurück. 24 1171340000/04/08.

Pressing [OK] opens the menus. 3.1.1 Measurement Figure 2 Plug-in Unit view NOTICE • The module that will be tested must be pushed into the plug-in unit in the indicated orientation, as shown in Figure 2. The front window of the module is on the right.
To start the menu measurement it has to be selected with [OK]. Next, the 10 digit order number (product number) must be typed in. This number can be found on the top side of the pluggable module, see figure 3. The test will run by pressing [OK]. If the pluggable module is not in the data base of the V-Test, type in the values (see 6.2.2.1 Install Module) This menu will start automatically when the part number is not installed.
3.1.2 Module management 3.1.2.1 Create module With this menu option the user can store new product numbers and/or delete stored numbers. Information on new modules can be found at www.weidmueller.com. In the top right of the display area the registered module number is indicated by "xxx". Here the user types the new product number and confirms this by pressing [OK]. The product number is to find on the front side of the module, see figure 3.
When the value is confirmed by [OK], four different combinations of the GDT are queried. If less than four combinations are needed, you confirm this with [OK]. (Combination 0-0). In addition it is not possible to enter two equal values in the same combination. With the used and confirmed combination it is not possible to jump back, in order to change the input. After the GDT data is stored, the same steps are taken for the VDR and the TVS diode.
Input for the combination of the suppression diode In additionally to the standard values, uni- or bipolar diode versions are selected too. This is done by assigning a "1" for a unipolar diode and a "0" for a bipolar diode. The user confirms the entered data via the [OK]-button. Summary Then a final page is shown and the entered values can be checked again. In the first step the voltage values are shown.
3.1.2.2 Delete module To delete a stored module in the V-Test go to the menu “Module Management” and click on “Delete Module” The stored modules can be seen. Select the module by moving the cursor [Up] and [Down] the list, then by pressing [OK] the module will be deleted. NOTICE The user gets no second chance – the module will be deleted irrevocably. 3.1.3 Settings With this menu you can select the language list and the backlight option. You can also find the software version installed.
LCD-Backlight With the “LCD-Backlight” menu you can switch the backlight “on” or “off “ The selection is made by using the arrow keys [Up] and [Down]. By pressing [OK] the selection will be confirmed. Version Along with the menu “Version”, the installed software version is shown.
