In this example the time delay is set for 20 seconds. At t

the measurement exceeds the alarm value, but this
only lasts for 10 seconds so there is no trip. At t
2
the measurement again exceeds the alarm trip value and
this lasts for longer than 20 seconds so the alarm trip occurs after 20 seconds.
