7 Score the protruding bres with the stylus
and break them off.
8 Hold the 30 µm (green) polishing foil in your
hand, apply a little pressure and working in
circular movements polish off the protruding
bres until only a little remains.
9 Place the 3 µm (pink) polishing foil on the
base and evenly coat polishing foil with
polishing liquid.
10 Insert the plug in the polishing xture and
polish the plug face end in gures of eight
until adhesive can no longer be seen on the
plug face end.
11 Place the 0.3 µm (grey) polishing foil on
the base and evenly coat with polishing
liquid.
12 Insert the plug in the polishing fixture
and polish the plug face end in figures
of eight.
