The affected parts are shorting links and accessory for current and voltage transformer wiring terminal
blocks. The flammability class of the used plastic material is UL94V-2.
The used plastic material changes to Wemid. As a result, the flammability class alternates to UL94V-0.
By changing the plastic material from PA66 to Wemid, the flammability class increases from V-2 to V-0.
The flammability class defines the reaction to fire according to UL94 and is determined by following
method: The test probe is positioned vertically and inflamed at its end. At V-2, the current flammability
class, the test probe is self-extinguishing after 30 seconds. As a result of the change to Wemid and the
new flammability class UL94V-0, the test probe is self-extinguishing after 10 seconds. The post-heating
time shortens from 60 to 30 seconds.
