Configuring Virtual LAN
VLAN Settings
To configure the IE-WL-AP-BR-CL-ABG’s VLAN, use the VLAN Setting page to configure the ports.

Type Description Trunk Port
LAN This port is the LAN port on the IE-WL-AP-BR-CL-ABG. Yes
WLAN This is a wireless port for the specific SSID. This field will refer
to the SSID that you have created. If more SSIDs have been
created, new rows will be added.
WDS This is the WDS port on the IE-WL-AP-BR-CL-ABG Yes
Port PVID
Setting Description Factory Default
VLAN ID ranging from 1
to 4094
Set the port’s VLAN ID for devices that connect to the port. The
port can be a LAN port or WLAN ports.

VLAN Tagged
Setting Description Factory Default
A comma-seperated list
of VLAN IDs. Each of
the VLAN IDs range
from 1 to 4094.
Specify which VLANs can communicate with this specific VLAN. (Empty)
NOTE The VLAN feature can allow wireless clients to manage the AP. If the VLAN Management ID matches a VLAN
ID, then those wireless clients who are members of that VLAN will have AP management access.
CAUTION: Once a VLAN Management ID is configured and is equivalent to one of the VLAN IDs on the AP, all
members of that User VLAN will have management access to the AP. Be careful to restrict VLAN membership
