Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Product changes serve the continuous product improvement. The articles listed below are supplied in a
modified version. Please pass this product information on to your employees and, if necessary, to your
customers. All changes are made for product improvement reasons.

The affected articles are two end brackets and accessories for the SAK PA 32 range.
The plastic material used so far is a PA 66 with flammability class V-2.
The plastic material used changes to Wemid. Thus the flammability class UL94 V-0 is achieved. It will be
easily identified by a color change from yellow/beige to a dark beige. Please see following pictures,
comparing old and new.
The change of the plastic material from PA 66 to Wemid, achieves a higher flammability class,
previously V-2 now V-0. This flammability class describes the fire behaviour according to UL94 and is
determined according to the following procedure: The test specimen is positioned vertically and ignited
at the lower end. With V-2, the previous flammability class, the test specimen is self-extinguishing within
30 seconds at the latest. By changing to Wemid and the new flammability class V-0, the test specimen is
now self-extinguishing up to 10 seconds at the latest. The afterglow time is reduced from 60 seconds to
30 seconds.
