6.3 Quick start program
The program position 000 is reserved for the quick start
program. Use this to work without a pre-dened program.
Length and piece count can be entered in the quick start
program as required.
► Select from production menu if not already displayed.
► Press E.
► Use the arrow keys to set to 0.
► Press E.
► Enter the length in mm.
► Press E to save the setting.
► Enter the piece count.
► Press E to save the setting.
► Proceed as described in section 6.4.
The settings for the quick start program remain at the pro-
gram position 000 until they are changed.
6.4 Processing wires
► Make sure the feed rollers are open.
Roller position open:
► Insert a wire into the wire entrance until the end appears
on the right near the blades.
► Close the feed rollers.
Roller position closed:
► Press the start button to start the program.
The wire is automatically drawn in. The machine performs
a zero-overlap cut. The selected program then starts.
Once the set piece quantity has been processed, an
acoustic signal sounds.
► Open the feed rollers.
► Pull out the ladder.
6.5 Modifying the feed speed
The feed speed of the cable feed can be set.
If you set a cutting length > 1 m, you should al-
ways reduce the speed.
► Touch C in the production menu.
The cursor ashes on the speed indicator.
► Use the arrow keys to select the required value
(0.1 m/s... 1.5 m/s).
► Press E to save the setting.
Alternatively, you can change the speed in menu 6 in the
menu item „Speed“.
6.6 Service display
After 250,000 cutting cycles, the service indicator will ap-
pear each time the machine is switched on.
► Press C to acknowledge the indication.
After that the machine is ready for operation.
To maintain the machine's performance capa-
bility for as long as possible, you should keep to
the service intervals specied.

sible for your country.
6.7 Emergency stop
After the emergency stop has been activated, the power
supply to the machine is cut o󰀨.
► Turn the emergency o󰀨 switch to re-activate the ma-
chine.
6.8 Switching off the machine
► Switch the machine o󰀨.
The display goes out.
