6 Operating the machine
6.1 Normal operation
► Inset the wire-end ferrule reel.
► Things to check prior to each activation:
– Is the mains connection cable in fault-free
condition?
– Is the front ap closed?
► Switch on the machine.
The touch display shows readiness for operation
6.2 Insertingthewire
Only process wires that are cut cleanly.
All stranded wire must nish with the insulation.
No stranded wire may be shortened or protrude.
Ensure that the end of the wire is inserted evenly.

► Insert a wire into the insertion funnel.
► Hold the wire tightened slightly.
► Once the processing is complete, pull the processed
wire out.
6.3 Filling level monitoring
Filling level monitoring checks whether the starting switch
has been addressed long enough. This function is active at
delivery.
Changing the setting
Condition: The machine is switched on and is in the home
position.
► Set the stripping level to 99.
► Press the touch display for 3 seconds.
The current status of lling level monitoring is displayed:
X = On, O = Off.
► To change the status, briey press the touch display.
Coming back to the production menue:
► Press the touch display for 3 seconds.
The „Test-Inputs“ menue is displayed.
► Press the touch display for 3 seconds.
The production menue is displayed.
► Adjust the desired stripping grade (see section 5.1).
6.4 Counter menu
Prerequisites: The machine is switched on and is located in
the start position.
► Press the touch display for 3 seconds.
The counter menu opens.
