4 Transporting and setting up the machine
4.1 Installationlocation
The installation location must meet the following require-
ments:
– Stable foundation with straight, even surface (for ma-
chine weight, see section 3.1).
– Keep 30 cm work area free on both sides and in front
of the machine.
– Electricity connection easily accessible close by.
4.2 Transporting the machine
► Always wear work shoes with foot protection
when transporting the machine.
► Empty the waste container prior to each transport.
► Note the weight of the machine(see section3.1). Use a
transport aid if necessary.
► To move the machine, always lift it from the base plate.
► To prepare the machine for shipping (e.g. in the event
of servicing), use the transport packaging.
4.3 Unpackingthedelivery
► Check the delivery for completeness (for scope of deliv-
ery, see below).
► Store away the transport packaging.
► Ensure that the operating instructions are accessible to
the user at all times.
4.4 Scopeofdelivery
– Stripping and crimping machine
– Reel holder with xing screws
– Mains connection cable (10 A, 250 V)
– Allen key size 4 mm (located in the machine)
– Tweezers (located in the machine)

4.5 Establishingconnections
► Set up the machine in the intended location.
► Insert the power cable into the power connection
socket (gure3.2, 9) of the machine and connect it up
to the power supply.
► Switch on the Crimpx E at the On/Off switch (g-
ure3.2, 7).
