Application
Method
“Enable notification” Enable/Disable notification application.
“Enable snapshot” Enable/Disable snapshot application.
“Enable video clip” Enable/Disable video clip application.
Weekly schedule
“Sun”/”Mon”/”Tue”/”Wed”/”Thu”/”Fri”/“Sat” Select the days of the week to
perform the application.
Time
Select “Always” or input the time interval.
File name prefix
“Snapshot” The prefix name should be added on the file name of the snapshot
images.
“Video clip” The prefix name should be added on the file name of the Video clip.
Trigger
“Motion detection” Sends out the notification/snapshot/video while motion detection.
“Delay second(s) before detecting next motion” Set the time delay before
restarting to check on the triggering condition when the current condition is triggered.
Sends files by
“Email” Selects sending files by email. The files will be attached in the email.
“FTP” The files will be uploaded to the external FTP server with the file name defined in
the next option. This can also be used to refresh the files stored in the external web
server to build creative homepages.
》“FTP put snapshots with date and time suffix” This option sets up the snapshot
capture date and time, which can be used to easily differentiate the snapshot file names
in the sequential operation. For instance, “prefix -20080809-060905.jpg” means the
JPEG image was captured in the year 2008,August the 9

, at 6 o’clock, 9 minute, and 5
second. If this suffix is omitted, the file named “xxx.jpg” on the external FTP server will
be refreshed at the specified interval. (Note: When prefix is empty, a serial number
will be generated continuously as “xxx”. And if prefix is specified, “xxx” will be
fixed as prefix)
