Camera control
On the Camera Control page, there are two main function control areas:
Camera control area
The pan and tilt functions can be controlled with these buttons. The “Left” button
controls the camera to the left; the
“Right”, “Up”, and “Down” buttons control the
camera accordingly.
“UL”, ”UR”, ”LL” and “LR“ buttons control the camera to an oblique angle. And
“Home” button controls the camera to the center.
“Pan angle” This sets the range of the horizontal movement of the camera. The larger
value is setting, the larger movement of
“Left” or “Right” is performing by the camera.
“Tilt angle” This sets the range of the vertical movement of the camera. The larger
value is setting, the larger movement of
“Up” or “Down” is performing by the camera.
“Patrol cycle” It is the cycle of patrol function.
“Auto pan speed” This defines the speed of auto panning. The larger value is setting,
the faster speed will run by the camera.
“Auto patrol speed” This defines the speed of auto patrol. The larger value is setting,
the faster speed will run by the camera.
Preset function area
”Current position” If the User wants to save the current view as a preset location,
enter a name to each of the current video view on
“Current position” and click on the
“Add” button. The camera allows for 20 preset locations.
”Preset position” This keeps a list for preset positions. Clicking on the “Delete” button
will remove the current selected position from the preset list.
“Set as home” Click on the button will set the current aimed position as home of the
Network Camera. Each time the Network Camera reboots or finishes calibration, it will
automatically aim to the defined home position.
“Default home” Restore home position to original default’s home by clicking on this
button.
”Dwelling time (sec)” The stop time of each preset location during auto patrol of the
Network Camera.
”Patrol selection” After the User has saved a list of preset positions, the “Preset
locations”
box will also keep a list of the preset positions. And once the “Select”
button is clicked, the
“Selected location” box will keep a list of the patrol stops. The
“Remove” button removes the preset position from the patrol stops. The “UP” and
“DOWN” buttons adjust the order of the patrol stops. Several preset positions can be
added to the patrol stops. The camera can accept up to 25 patrol positions.
“Save” The button is valid for “Dwelling time” and “Patrol selections”. In other words,
after changing these settings, and the Save” button is not clicked, the new setting of
the camera will not take effect.
