recommended procedures described in
the instructi on manual perf or med by
your author i zed service dealer.
S Always see your authorized service
dealer to replace a damaged impell er.
Parts that are chipped, cracked, broken,
or damaged in any other way can fly
apart and cause serious inj ury. Replace
damaged parts befor e using the unit.
S Never place any object in the air intake
opening as thi s could r estr i ct proper air
flow and cause damage to t he unit .
S Never douse the unit with water or other
liqui ds or squir t with a water hose. Clean

S Check air intake openings and tube fre-
quently, always wit h the unit stopped
and power source di sconn ected. Keep
vents and tube fr ee of debri s which can
accumulate and rest r i ct proper air flow.
S Do not bur n, incinerate, or expose this
unit to extreme heat .
S Store th e unit unplug ged in a high, cool,
dry, indoor area out of the reach of chil-
dren.
S Use only recommended attachments
and replacement parts to avoid creati ng
a hazard and/ o r voiding warranty.
S Maintain the unit according to recom-
mended procedures.
BLOWER SAF ETY
S Use only in dayli ght or in good arti fi ci al
light.
S Inspect the area before using the unit.
Remove all debris and hard objects
such as rocks, glass , wire, etc., that can
ri cochet, be thrown, or ot herw ise cause
injur y or damage during operati on.
S Never r un the unit without the proper
equipment attached. When using the
blower, always install bl ower tube. Use
only recommended att achments.
S To avoid spreading fir e, do not use blow-
er near leaf or brush fi r es, fir eplaces,
barb ecue pit s, ashtrays, etc.
S Never place obj ects inside the blower
tube; always direct the blowing debris
away fr o m people, ani ma ls, glass, and
solid objects such as tr e es, automo-
biles, walls, etc. The force of air can
cause r ocks , dir t , or sticks to be t hr o wn
or to ricochet which can hurt people or
animals, break glass, or cause other
damage.
S Never use for spreadi ng chemicals, fer-
tilizers, or any other substances which
may contain toxic materials.

WARNING: I f recei ved assembl ed,
ensur e your unit is properly assem bled
and all f astener s ar e secure.
ATTACHING THE BLOWER TUBE
1. Align the grooves on the blower tube
with the grooves on the blower outlet.
2. Push the blower tube onto the blower
outlet until it s naps into place (tube is
secured by yellow tube release but-
ton).
3. To remove the bl ower tube, press the
tube release button while pulling on
tube.
