STOPPING YOUR UNIT
To stop the unit, move the
ON/OFF
switch to the OFF (0) position.
STARTING YOUR UNIT
Move the
ON/OFF switch to the ON (I)
position to turn on the unit.
WARNING: Do not use the unit
wit hout the blower tube properly attached
to avoid fl ying debri s and/or imp eller con-
tact which can cause serious injury . Al-
ways wear eye pr otecti on to prevent r ocks
or debr is from being blown or ri cocheting
into the eyes and face which can result in
blindness or ser ious i njur y.
OPERATING POSITION

Eye Protection
WARNING: Inspect the area be-
fore using the unit. Remove all debris
and hard ob jects such as rocks, glass ,
wire, etc., that can ricochet, be thrown,
or otherwise caus e injury or damage
during operation.
Use your unit as a blower for:
D Sweepi ng debri s or grass cli pp ings fr om
dri ve wa ys, sidewalks, pat ios, etc.
D Blowing grass clippi ngs, straw, or
leaves into piles, or removing debris
from corners, around j oi nts, or between
bricks.
Direct air flow by directing the blower
tube down or to one side. Alw ays work
away from solid object s such as wal ks,
lar ge stones, vehicles, and fences.
Cl ea n c orners by star ting in cor ners and
moving outw ard. This wil l help prevent
an accumulation of debris which could
fly into your face.
Be careful when w orking near pl a nts.
The force of the air coul d damage
tender plants.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maintenance.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subjected to opera-
tor abuse or neg ligence. To recei ve ful l
value from the warranty, the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Various adjust ments will need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.
BEFORE EACH USE
CHECK FOR LOOSE
FASTENERS AND PARTS

CHECK FOR DAMAGED OR
WORN PARTS
Contact your authorized service dealer
for replacement of damaged or worn
parts.

ON/OFF Switch -- Ensure switch func-
tionsproperlybymovingtheswitchto
the
OFF posit ion. Make sure motor
stop s; then restart motor and cont inue.
AFTER EACH USE
INSPECT AND CLEAN UNIT & LABELS
Stop unit and unplug extension cord.
S After each use, inspect complete unit
for loose or damaged parts. Clean the
unit using a damp c loth.
S Wip e off unit with a clean dry cloth.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use:
S Stop unit and disconnect from the pow-
er source.
S Allow motor t o cool before stori ng or
transporting.
S Store unit with all guards in place. Posi-
ti on unit so that any sharp object cannot
accidentall y cause injur y.
S Store unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of chil dr en.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepare unit for s torage at the end of
the season or if it will not be use d for
30 days or more.
If your blower is to be s tored for a period
of time:
S Stop unit and disconnect from the pow-
er source.
S Clean the enti r e unit.
S Clean air vents and air i nl et of debris.
