MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Disconnect power
source before performing maintenance.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover
items that have been subject ed to opera-
tor abuse or negligen ce. To recei ve full
value from the warranty , the operator must
maintain unit as instructed in this manual.
Various adjust ments will need to be made
periodically to properly maintain your unit.
BEFORE EACH USE
CHECK FOR LOOSE

AFTER EACH USE
INSPECT AND CLEAN UNI T & LABELS
Stop unit and unp lug extension cord.
S After each use, inspect complete unit
for loose or damaged parts. Clean the
unit using a damp cloth.
S Wip e off unit wit h a clean dry cloth.
STORAGE
WARNING: Perform the following
steps after each use:
S Stop unit and disconnect fr om the pow-
er source .
S Allow motor t o cool before storing or
transporting.
S Store unit wit h all guards in place. Posi-
ti on unit so t hat any shar p object cannot
accidentall y cause injury.
S Store unit unplugged, well out of the
reach of childr en.
SEASONAL STORAGE
Prepare unit for storage at the end of
the season or if it will not be us ed for
30 days or more.
If your blower is to be stored for a period
of time:
S Stop unit and disconnect f r om the pow-
er sour ce.
S Clean the entire unit.
S Clean air vents and air inlet of debris.
S Store your uni t and extension cord in a
well ventilated area and covered, if pos-
sible, to prevent dust and dirt accumula-
tion. Do not cover with plastic. Plastic
cannot breathe and may cause con-
densation and eventual rust or corro-
sion.
S Check entire unit for loose screws. Re-
place any damaged, worn, or br oken
parts.
TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE

quire unit to be operating.
