CH4 BNC connector To input video signal through a coaxial cable.
Power connector
To supply power connecting provided SMPS power supply
unit (12V 1.0A)
DB-15 port
To connect external devices such as pan/tilt/zoom
mechanism, sensor, video iris lens, digital device, etc.
RJ-45 Ethernet port To connect 10 Base-T Ethernet cable.
3) Descriptions on DB-15 port
Pin No. Pin Name Description
1, 2 TXD, RXD
To communicate between external devices such as PTZ controller and
WebEye E104. These pins are for devices that satisfy RS-232 standard.
3, 4 S+, S-
To communicate between WebEye E104 and external devices that
satisfies RS-485 standard. They are half-duflex. The ports are used to
connect several PTZ controllers.
5, 14 GND To ground cables of power, communication, IRIS, etc.
6, 7 I1+, I1- To connect external devices such as infrared sensors.
8, 9 I2+, I2- To connect external devices such as infrared sensors.
10, 11 O1+, O1-
To control external electric device. They are 1 pair of SSR (Solid State
Relay) output ports.
12 +12V
To supply power to external devices such as an auto iris driver or a
sensor.
13 IRIS To transmit video iris signal from WebEye E104 to auto iris lens.
15 EM To maintain firmware of WebEye E104.
4) Description on LED of Ethernet Port
Yellow LED: This LED indicates the status of data transmission.
After power is supplied, it is on for the first 4-5 seconds and then
it goes off. And it blinks continuously when a user access
WebEye and WebEye transmits data.
