Users’ authority setting trough WinRDS
The powerful, abundant WESP(WEBGATE Embedded Standard Protocol) SDK has full function of Control Center with which
any special application preferred by user can be developed with ease. From low level functions which have all functions of the
products, to high level functions, showing images and controlling PTZ achieved in a single code, users can develop various
programs to meet their needs.
In addition, It can be programmed with various languages (VB, VC++, VB Script, Java Script, .NET) since it is made based on
Microsoft COM® Technology. Webpage programmer using Java Script can make featured application too.

In case of large-scale video surveillance system, the administrator might have to assign several users’ authority to individual
DVR dierently. This will be dicult and time consuming for administrator to assign each DVR with dierent authorities per
user.
WinRDS allows max. 100 user registration, and the administrator can easily
allocate individual user’s authority. WinRDS helps the administrator to easily
assign/modify user’s authority through simple user interface.
If 2 Network Interface cards are used in a PC which runs WinRDS, user can
separate network as DVR side and client side. So, security could be im-
proved and lessen the network burden.
WRS and WNS are solutions which enable re-
mote users to access to units having dynamic
IP address.
WRS(WEBGATE Registration Service) is dier-
ent from competitors’ DDNS service where
complicated procedures such as member
register, unit register are required. Instead, us-
ing Control Center, users can easily nd their
units and register it.
Dynamic IP Solution : WRS and WNS
WNS(WEBGATE Naming Service) is DDNS
service which changes IP address managed
by WRS server into domain name address. It
is required when a user wants to access the
unit from web browser instead of Control
Center.
All the WRS and WNS services are free to use
and both were developed and managed in-
house. This is why users do not need to worry
about sudden service discontinues or mal-
functions. Moreover, these services are being
managed without a break in IDC (Internet
Data Center) to protect from power failure.
