Auto Detection of PoC Camera / Power supply to Camera
PoC DVR can supply camera power through coaxial cable. DVR
can provide maximum 16W per channel, and DVR can supply
power to PoC repeater within the power specications.
If PoC camera or PoC repeater is connected to DVR through co-
axial cable, DVR automatically detect the devices, and start to
supply power to PoC devices. DVR has over-current protection
function per each channel and also shows the working condi-
tion of PoC operating.

DoubleReach
TM
is the latest HD-SDI technology which converts Full-HD video to the undistinguishable video quality level by
naked eye and transmit the video up to 400m through 5C-HFBT coaxial cable. DoubleReach supporting HD DVR models can
receive DoubleReach video for odd channels without additional equipment and users can easily relocate channels which are
displayed on multi-screen. Also, DoubleReach technology includes PoC/CoC function, so DoubleReach transmitter’s power
can be supplied from DVR.
As you can see from below Figure, if PoC cameras are connected to a PoC DVR by coaxial cable, PoC DVR supplies necessary
power to cameras and additional power installation is not necessary. Also, you can control whole camera menu through DVR
or CMS without additional RS485 cable installation and it makes simple design and to build ecient video surveillance system.

CoC(Control over Coax) Support
Automatic setting of communication / Camera Control
PoC DVR can transmit control commands to PoC camera
through coaxial cable.
In case of Non-PoC DVR, RS485 cable installation, protocol, ad-
dress, baud rate, data bit, parity bit, stop bit settings are neces-
sary. But, in case of PoC camera, these settings are unnecessary.
By merely assigning CoC at PTZ menu, DVR can control all cam-
era functions with 57,600bps baud rate.
