Barbecue roasts are a huge part of the cooking culture here in Australia and New Zealand.
We believe there’s still no better way to roast a leg of lamb, cook a succulent beef roast or
roast a golden, crispy chicken than on your barbecue.
Preheating for roasting:
Whenever you use your Pulse™ for roasting,
it is important that you preheat the barbecue
first, with the lid closed. Like a convection
oven, the barbecue should be hot when you
put your food in, to achieve the best results.
To preheat your Pulse for roasting:
1. Connect the front control panel if it isn’t
already, then connect your Pulse to a
power point.
2. Press the on/off button.
3. Place a trivet in the centre of your
barbecue then turn your control knobs to
HIGH.
4. Preheat your barbecue with the lid closed
and your control knobs on HIGH for 15
to 20 minutes, or until the barbecue
reaches 260C.
Roasting:
1. After preheating for 15-20 minutes, your
barbecue is ready to cook.
2. Turn the control knobs to MEDIUM.
3. Place your food onto the centre of the
trivet.
4. Close the lid and cook your food for the
estimated cooking time.

Note: For the best roasting results from
your Pulse, we recommend you cook at
the higher end of the temperature range
provided.
For example, a leg of lamb cooked over
indirect medium heat will be best cooked
between 210C and 230C.
