surfacetemperaturesareabove45°Fandrising.Applytodrysurfacesonly.Applysheetparalleltotheroofedge,extendingover
1/4”.Overlapedgeseams3”,sothatlapswillshedwater.Endseamsshouldbeoverlapped6”andstaggered.Onsteep-slope
applicationsitmaybenecessarytospotnailthetopedgeofthemembranetemporarilyduringtheinstallationprocess.For

Ice&Waterunderlaymentinto10-to15-footlengthsandrerollinreversedirection.
Peelback1to2feetofreleasepaper.Alignthesheetontheloweredgeoftheroofandadheretherst1to2feet.Pulltherelease
paperfromunderthesheetandcontinuetopeelitwhilepressingthesheetintoplace.Rollloweredgesrmlywithawallpaper
rollerorotherhandroller.Foricedamprotection,WeatherMaster

Ice&Waterunderlaymentmustbeappliedtoreachapoint
abovethehighestexpectedleveloficedams(minimumapplicationatleasttoaheightof24”beyondtheinteriorwallline).End
lapsshouldbeoverlapped6”andstaggered.Wheninstallingattemperaturesbelow45°Fandonslopesabove8in12—facenail
intheoverlapareaatthetopofthesheetat12”O.C.Primingthedeckmaybenecessarybelow45°F.

ridge.Drapeandpresssheetintoplace,workingfromthecenterofthevalleyorridgeineachdirection.Forvalleys,applythesheet
startingatthelowestpointandworkupward.WeatherMaster
®
Ice&Waterunderlaymentshouldnotbeleftpermanentlyexposed
totheweather.Itmustbecoveredbyshingles,metalvalleyashing,orotherroongmaterialswithin45days.Overlaphorizontal
overlapsatleast6”invalleys.Smooth-shankgalvanizednailsarerecommendedforfasteningshingles.Donotoverdrivenailsor
breakthesurface.

notbedoublestacked.Provideaweathercover
ontopandsidestoallowforproperventilation.

onWeatherMaster®Ice&Wateroranyothermaterialonasloped
roofdeck.Failuretousepropersafetyequipmentandfootwear
canresultinseriousinjuryorevendeath.
