Placingthelightningsysteminacloseproximitytoanyoftheabovementioned
systemscouldrenderthedatafromthelightningsystemunusableduetotheamount
ofnoisethatisdetectedbythesystem.Themastmustbegroundedtoan"earth"
ground.Notgroundingthesystemproperlymayalsoresultinnoise.Thesystem
mustbegroundedproperlyandlocatedawayfromnoisesourcesinordertoclearly
identifytheuniqueradiofrequencysignatureofstaticdischargecausedbylightning.

Performance.Basedonthefigurebelow,performanceofsensorsplacedinred
