in the spring, to remove the water weight.

To determine the correct pool pump, figure out the gallon size of you pool:
Rectangular Pools
"A" Length (in ft.) X "B" Width (in ft.) X "C" Average depth of pool (in ft.) X 7.5 = Total capacity of pool in gallons
Circular Pools
"A" Diameter (in ft.) X "B" Diameter (in ft.) X "C" Average depth of pool (in ft.) X 5.9 = Total capacity of pool in gallons
