Install pump as close to water source as possible.
Do not reduce suction size piping
Do not reduce discharge size piping prior to branch/outlet area
Provide suction pipe with strainer protection without restricting water flow
Install check or foot valve on suction side
Provide adequate wire size for length of wiring distance and motor size.
The above flow rates are calculated with steel pipe. For better performance use PVC pipe.
